Current Press Releases Archived Press Releases           ARQADIA LAUNCHES TIMECARE® HERITAGE MUSEUM BOARD   Following the acquisition of Conservation By Design (CXD), Arqadia are the exclusive distributors of the company’s new Timecare® Heritage Museum Board.  Part of the Timecare® Collection, the new 100% Cotton Core Museum mountboard creates superior quality, classic frame designs for items which require the very highest level of protection.  Made entirely from 100% pure cotton fibres which are naturally lignin free, Timecare® Heritage Museum Board is available in six colours – White, TG Off White, Dull White, Museum Cream, Warm Cream and Black. Only natural pigments which are fade and bleed resistant and measure a minimum reading of five on the Blue Wool Scale are used.  It passes the Silver Tarnish Test and Photographic Activity Test (PAT) and all of the boards are buffered with the exception of Off White and Dull White which are unbuffered for the ultimate protection of photographs. It is available in a wide range of thicknesses - 550, 1100, 1650 and 2200 micron - with sheet sizes of 841 x 1189mm and 1682 x 1189mm.  This high quality mountboard complies with Fine Art Trade Guild (FATG) museum standards making it ideal for a wide variety of applications.
